Green Day - Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)
International Superhits - Track 15
Well I've been playing guitar for about 2 months (since Nov '03) and this was the
first song I wanted to learn but I couldn't find a version I thought sounded right
so I made this tab for everyone to enjoy. I really think it's the best one out
here. This should really be under ‘Good Riddance’ but there are too many crappy
tabs of that song taking up all the space.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.

2nd Verse (0:52) and Chorus (1:12)
In the second verse and chorus you just strum chords using a
random basic strumming pattern.
Strum a G chord (3x003x) throughout:
So take the photographs and still frames in your mind.
Hang them on a shelf in good health and good time.
Strum these chords where noted:
EADGBe
Em 02200x
G 3x003x
D xx0232
Em G Em G
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
Em G Em G
For what it's worth it was worth all the while.
Em G Em G
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.
Em D
I hope you had the time of your life.
-Throughout the second verse the strings, for the most part, dictate
what the chords sound like. The guitar chords provide an underlying
sound. If you were to do this song solo, then it would probably be
better to play it like this:
EADGBe
Em 02200x
G 3x003x
D xx023x
D* xx0232
C9 x3203x
C x3201x
G G C9 D
So take the photographs and still frames in your mind.
G G C9 D
Hang them on a shelf in good health and good time.
Em D C G
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
Em D C G
For what it's worth it was worth all the while.
Em G Em G
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.
Em D*
I hope you had the time of your life.
